One of Australia’s finest Master Roasters, Michael Salomone started learning his craft in 1969

Long before Melbourne was known as the coffee capital of Australia, Michael learnt the art and science of coffee roasting. In the small roasting houses of Melbourne Michael excelled in selecting the finest quality beans, to blending them to create different tastes and aromas, through to the roasting process. It was in these small roasting houses that Michael’s lifelong passion for coffee was born. His distinctive blends have been recognised with many awards over the years.

After decades spent perfecting his skills blending and roasting coffee, Michael founded Espresso Vivo in 2009.

Today, they continue to combine their unmatched experience with the latest machinery and technology to produce Melbourne’s finest coffee.
